Congratulations to Our New 2023 Mini-Grant Recipients!
We are excited to announce the newest MAM mini-grant recipients! Given the current political situation in Guatemala with the ongoing protests for democracy, we are aware that this situation is taking precedent for many of our colleagues at the moment. Perhaps as a result, we did not receive many applications from Guatemala at this time. We wish our friends and the indigenous authorities in Guatemala all the best in their efforts to peacefully uphold their democracy. After a successful Congreso this past July, our collective work to uphold Maya languages and cultures through supporting Maya teachers in multiple countries continues. We are thrilled to have several new applicants as well as those we have worked with many times in the past! Here are our latest MAM mini-grant recipients:MÉXICO
